While the sealant’s color will fade naturally in the months following your last application, this is a natural process and does not mean that the surface is no longer protected. Immediately after a deck is sealed, water will bead up at first, then as a downpour continues, eventually be absorbed and move through the boards. After a few months, it no longer beads up, but pools, and then is slowly absorbed. If you pour a glass of water on a cool deck and it immediately evaporates, without pooling, then … it’s time to call POW! POW! Powerwash’nSeal ® to clean and reseal all your wooden surfaces!
